6 Maidens bowled!!:
Munaf won RR one match, and he has cost RR one match with his bowling. He's someone I can't fathom at all - his attitude on the field confounds me.
He prevents a team from scoring 4 runs one day, then next time he concedes 25 !!! I'm no Einstein, but even he would struggle to figure this one out!
In the post match - it was hilarious to hear Warne say DD got 15 runs too many.. Sorry mate they got 20 runs too many - thanks to Mr Munaf!
Now - RR are in some strife. Ok they will defeat KKR :) but will depend on CSK to beat KXIP.. Which I think would happen since CSK would want to finish second and avoid DD in the semis !
All of this would have been moot, if only Rohit had kept his head, or Ryan Harris had used his head...
TG,
his attitude on the field confounds me.
You've got company.
:O)
I haven't seen the KXIP v. DC match (perhaps tomm..) but I did see the last over and it was wierd of Ryan Harris to not take that run.
The problem Nehra and Munaf have with Dinesh Karthik is he is a madrasi. And getting hit by a Madrasi or a madrasi dropping catch off them boils their blood. Hence the reaction, You didnt see Munaf going after De Villiers, did you?
Anon,
Welcome.
No I did not see Munaf go for AB, but I did hear Shastri say so, and I have no reason to doubt him.
I think we cannot genralize the Madrasi issue; for instance do a search for "Nehra Dhoni abuse" on youtube and you will get your answer.Similarly, if you read this you'll see Munaf is anti-social in genral!
:0)
The thing with mild-mannered people like Kartik is that they need to stand up for themselves otherwise they will get bullied.
Unfortunate but true!
I wonder if Mr. Anonymous has ever heard Srinath or Kumble abuse on the field. Bigot.
It's not too difficult to explain Munaf's performance. He was facing Kulkarni, Nanda in a pressure situation the other day. In this game he was facing a well-set AB de Villiers, one of the most in-form batsmen in world cricket right now.
Add Harbhajan and Malinga to the batsmen he faced. The four of these put together can't score as many runs as AB.
