The post is inaccurate and beggars belief. Nice try by the bloke (I'm assuming it's a he, can't think of a female blogger having the name' farkand funk'!!), but that's 5 minutes of my time wasted reading that :-)
As to the main point of MSD at #3, I've no issues with it if GG gets out first, because it keeps one end safe while the other end can go beserk.
However if it's RS who gets out, I think SR should come. MSD did say that him batting at #3 is not a permanent thing!
Why inaccurate TG? Because of the stats? (Because that is one thing I did not verify.) Otherwise if the stats are OK, where is the flaw?
I also have no prob with MSD coming in when GG gets out because of the way GG/MSD is playing nowadays. But if RS gets out, SR shd come in as MSD is slowing down the momentum. I guess we agree there :-)
Check out the snap titled' Sachin of Old'. That's Mohd Azhar. Any lady/bloke who follows cricket would know that :-)
So two inaccuracies on which he basis his argument. Na Na - this doesn't wash well considering other blogs I follow - your's, Homer's, Q's, BCCI( and P)..
Oh and I'm just loving the English batting :-) Pity it is against S Af :-)
Thanks TG. Yup they always flatter to decieve. And right now all the analysis-paralysis on television.. Nasser H and Sir Ian Botham.. Uff!
Umm.. if India is winning (and ultimately wins!) maybe will cheer for the Windies. Else if Gayle is on fire, India will become the underdog team, so will have to support India. :-)
I'm glad TG picked up on that fake Sachin pic. If the green helmet isn't a giveaway, the height of the batsman certainly is. Can't believe people would go to such lengths to prove their point.
Coming back to the topic, scoring at anything less than a strike rate of 110 is unacceptable. Dhoni needs to realise he can't just scored 20 off 18 and get out. He has to be more attacking because he CAN be more attacking and there is enough batting in the side to last 20 overs.
Maybe it's his back that's the problem, maybe he's out of form.Whatever it is, there is no way anyone other than Raina should bat at number 3. I don't care what the situation is, he's the most in-form batsman in the team. In fact, the team should expect Raina and Sharma to grow into the batsmen AB de Villiers and JP Duminy are.
8 Maidens bowled!!:

TG,
LOL. I am sick today so maybe my eyes are not seeing correctly. Good catch!
Thanks for placing me in that group-great company.
:-)
I am(?)/was supporting Eng today..u know my "support the underdog always" theory. Idiots - just crumpled.
Leela,
Sorry to hear of your illness. Get well soon !
Well it goes without saying - never support England :-) They always flatter to deceive, and worse disappoint the supporters pretty much always :-)
btw since you would be supporting the underdog, tomorrow you'll be all Carribean right ;-)
