Well for India anyway.
So this morning I find out about the (now famous) press conference(courtsey dopaisekatamasha) by MSD.
Then I find this:
and apparently after this:
Finished, Dhoni and the entire squad stormed out of the conference, leaving the Indian media miffed.
The media immediately lodged a complaint with the ICC's [ Images ] Communications Officer Sami-ul-Hasan, saying that since it is an ICC event it is mandatory for the captain or a team member to address the media ahead of a match.
I think this is what one means when they say ulta chor kotwal ko daante... ("the pot calling the kettle black" or something like that.)
Really!
The effects of a ton by Tendulkar.

6 Maidens bowled!!:
It would be interesting to see the choice words cricketers have for these gossip mongers. Good to see the whole team come out together. Even better to see Dhoni name the players who supposedly had problems. Usually they just leave everything to the public's imagination, which as we all know, can run very wild.
Mahek,
Yeah good on Dhoni.
Indian media can be sooo stupid.
Some of the vernacular media especially.
Btw, did u notice the presenter at the beginning call the world cup the IPL?
Haha!
Like the new look Leela!
Q,
Yeah, that was funny. She said IPL.
:-)
Thanks Q, I've been meaning to change the template for a while now...
Surely M.S is a new kinda captain!
Dhoni is not the kinda guy who takes media-cooked stories against him or his team. His lashing out on the media is completely fair. Good wishes ahead of their Group 8 matches!
AI,
Cheers!
