No that was not some sorta twisted sarcastic comment about India's loss to NZ.
(Its only a warm-up game people, put away those effigies. I did.)
Which btw is something we desis should be used to by now. (I mean losing to NZ.)
I mean perfect timing as in when I get to watch the matches.
And that is at a perfectly sane hour of 9:30 am or 10:00 am. At least all the India matches are at those times, at least during the league phase.
YAY.
After spending the last six months watching matches at weird hours (the NZ test matches were a somewhat welcome blip), thank you gods.
Did I say, YAY?
Oh WTH, I'll say YAY! Again.
:-)

9 Maidens bowled!!:
Alright I'm curious now...
What job/school in Cali allows you the time and freedom to watch these games???
Mahek,
LOL. I work from home. PT.
And go to school full time. Plus I am not in a math/science field. So no math (Yay!), no high funda brain usage stuff.
I basically write, write.. and write. Which is easy for me.
I guess this tells you how much of a cricket nerd I am that I still find time to watch!!
Considering you write about cricket, not that much of a nerd. I'm too lazy to write otherwise my blog would have had a gazillion posts by now :(
Leela
Would you seriously be ' YAY' to see Ind * Bang/Irl :)
For a true fan , time of the match shouldn't matter one jot, no ? ;)
Haven't checked the super 8 timings, but am hoping the interesting matches start at 17:30.
I remember during Ashes 2006 - matches started at midnight and ended up at 7 in the morning :) I used to watch two sessions prompt and then Mr Sleep would take over... Worst was Perth - grrr had to set an alarm to wake up at 3 to view the test..
On most week days then I was like a zombie filling up with caffeine to get me through the day - which also meant no sleep for that night :)
I don't think my body would allow the same now :)
Mahek,
A typo ... I go to school PT (not full time).
I don't think too much when I write, its usually the first thing that comes to mind when I look back at a match that has just ended.
:-)
Only when I get into a discussion with people does it get tuff for me. (Especially defending Dhoni against Badri supporters!)
TG,
For a true fan , the opposition shouldn't matter one jot, no?
;-)
Yeah with all these time zone issues it gets tuff for fans to keep up.
Plus the fact that we actually have to pay for these matches!
Can't wait to visit India and see a cricket match for free for a change!
Leela, speaking for myself, am more of a Dhoni detractor than a Badri supporter.
Er...that probably makes me even more evil in your eyes, so scratch that in retrospect
Raj,
OMG! Nobody is "evil in my eye".
:-)
We all need not agree about things. We can disagree and still have a civil conversation.
Which I believe everyone who visits my blog does.
Yay!
